Editorial Policy

At Your Job Mitra, we believe job listings should be written for human job seekers — not search engine bots or corporate PR departments.
1. Why We Rewrite Job Descriptions
Most original corporate job descriptions are filled with dense buzzwords and vague statements that leave freshers wondering what the job actually entails day to day. We carefully analyze each posting and rewrite it into clean, accessible English.
Our editorial guidelines require every job summary to clearly specify:
- Role Summary: A 1-2 sentence overview of what the company does and why the role exists.
- Actual Responsibilities: The day-to-day work tasks expected of a fresher.
- Who Should Apply: Educational background, eligible batches, and core skills needed.
- Salary & CTC: Transparent salary ranges (in INR/LPA or monthly stipends) whenever available.
2. Editorial Independence
Our editorial summaries are objective and factual. We do not inflate salary expectations, hide drawbacks, or accept paid compensation to present a role dishonestly. If a position involves night shifts, bonds, or specific geographic requirements, we state them explicitly.
3. Corrections & Updates
If an employer updates their posting criteria or if we correct a clerical detail in a summary, we update the listing immediately. Learn more about our verification standards on our Verification Policy page.
